•ROAD DIET INFORMATION

The Road Diet Project is on Grand River from west of Zimmer Road to east of Block Street and on North and South Putnam from the river to Middle Street.  Questions, contact City Hall at 517-655-2774.  MDOT is taking public comments on the proposed road diet on M-43 (Grand River Avenue) in Williamston.  Questions, contact Aaron Jenkins, MDOT University Region Media Representative, JenkinsA10@Michigan.gov, 517-243-9075.  CLICK HERE for information on how to submit your comments to MDOT.

•WATER SEWER EMERGENCY INFORMATION
▪ If you have a water or sewer emergency during regular business hours (M-F from 8a-5p), please call City Hall at 517-655-2774.
▪ If you have a water or sewer emergency AFTER HOURS, please call 517-992-5022 and the Department of Public Works will be paged.


•PARKING ON CITY STREETS 

There is NO PARKING on any City street from October 1 – March 31 between 2am-5am.  This ordinance is in effect even if there is no snow on the ground, per City Ordinance - Sec. 66-145.  If there is a late snowfall (in April) cars will need to be off the streets.  This is to allow our DPW workers the ability to remove snow from streets.

The public restroom at McCormick Park is open to the public. Restrooms are checked for supplies and cleanliness each morning by City staff.

Were you aware that 2-1-1 is a free and confidential service that helps people across North America find the local resources they need?  They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  You may also visit the website at www.211.org.  The range of services includes help with crisis and emergency, disaster assistance, food, health, housing and utilities, jobs and support, reentry, veterans and human trafficking.  All calls are private and confidential.
